📍 Black Tap Las Vegas
Black Tap is a legendary NYC diner & bar that opened in SoHo in the late 80’s. With subway tags and artists working in studios on every corner, SoHo shaped the culture of the restaurant. Today, Black Tap preserves the timeless environment it was created in. From 35th Street to Disneyland, Black Tap has established itself as a specialty diner offering jaw-dropping shakes and burgers. A lot of thought goes into their shakes, as each location sources local ingredients to create unique menu items. The Vegas location boasts THE GOLDEN KNIGHTS SHAKE and THE CAKESHAKE. Both usually run out each day due to high demand, so be sure to get there early!

📍 Holsteins Shakes & Buns
Holsteins is no stranger to most of Vegas’ top 10 shake and burger lists, and that’s for good reason! Local Las Vegas entrepreneur, Billy Richardson, opened Holsteins on the second floor of the Cosmopolitan. Their alcoholic shakes are their specialty, with 3 varieties offered: Cookies and Cream (pictured), Campfire S’mores, & the Drunken Monkey. These delicious shakes pair perfectly with Holsteins’ fantastic beers and burgers, so if you’re looking for great food and drinks, check out Holsteins!

📍 Ethel’s M’s Chocolate Factory
I honestly didn’t realize chocolate factories existed outside of the fictional world of Charlie & the Chocolate Factory, but Ethel M’s has proven me wrong! Owned by Mars, the company that makes M&M’s, Ethel M’s produces gourmet chocolate just a few miles from the Strip. With tastings & a cactus garden to explore, Ethel M’s is a great half-day trip if you are visiting Vegas. During Summer and Spring, Ethel M offers a shake happy hour where shakes are only $4! Made with fresh chocolate, Ethel M’s is sure to provide a solid milkshake.

📍 The Cereal Killerz Kitchen
Season 12, Episode 3 of SharkTank featured Jess and Chris, founders of The Cereal Killerz Kitchen, who pitched the sharks on their new cereal bar chain in full serial killer attire. Their new concept of a cereal bar sparked the sharks’ interests, but unfortunately due to Covid, the sharks were unwilling to make a deal. Jess and Chris have done pretty well since the airing of the episode. They just opened up a second location in Arizona and are planning to expand to the Strip in the near future.
So what is a cereal bar? At The Cereal Killerz Kitchen, you can mix and match over 140 different kinds of cereal and create your own box. They also have specialty shakes revolving around breakfast themes, often including cereal and Pop-Tarts. These decadent shakes are certainly worth the visit!
Gourmet Cupcakes
Nostalgic. Sophisticated. Local.
The inspiring story of the lady selling cupcakes from her car in San Francisco pushed Pamela Jenkins to open up the first Cupcakery in 2006. Their best-seller, the Southern Belle, is a moist and creamy red-velvet and vanilla combination. With other adult flavors like Kir Royale and Chocolate Passion, The Cupcakery has sold over 275 thousand cupcakes! Today, there are 3 locations in Vegas and a new location in Texas. New and experimental flavors are always being added, so be sure to keep coming back!

📍 Sin City Cupcakes
If I had to describe Sin City Cupcakes, I would say “sinfully sweet, but also sinfully infused with alcohol.” With decadent flavors like "Chocolate Wasted” and “Better than Sex,” Sin City Cupcakes is proving to be quite the success, as they just expanded to Texas. More and more foodies are making this a must-visit when traveling to Vegas. Their creations are unique AND photogenic!
